Duke Dumont teams up with Shaun Ross on retro-fitted tune, ‘Red Light Green Light’
Hailing originally from London, Duke Dumont was initially born deaf. With corrective surgery, it inadvertently shaped the way he interprets sounds, with tone and timbre taking precedence over words and lyrics. So it’s hardly any wonder why he’s become a platinum-selling DJ/producer and Grammy nominee over the years.
Now Dumont has delivered his brand-new club anthem, “Red Light Green Light,” featuring Shaun Ross, who’s known as a pioneer of the underground ballroom scene. Ross’ tongue-in-cheek vocals shine on the track’s staccato tempos and retro synth-led 80s elements. The track continues Dumont’s For Club Play Only series, a range of tracks focusing on delivering huge club-ready floor-fillers across the globe.
“Red Light Green Light” sees its release on Dumont’s very own Blasé Boys Club label, marking the sixth release in the series, following his 2018 summer anthem “Runway.”
