Porter Robinson rounds out Second Sky line-up with Madeon, adds second day due to high demand
The final artist announcement has been made for Porter Robinson‘s Second Sky festival. To no one’s surprise, it’s his longtime friend and collaborator, Madeon. The two have a storied history, meeting online as teenagers and working on music together in the years since. Their now-legendary Shelter Tour culminated in a Coachella mainstage performance in 2017, with the two parting ways creatively afterward.
Now, Shelter hopefuls have been rewarded with a possible reunion of the two at Second Sky, set to take place in Oakland in June.
Even as the artist lineup announcements were set, festival organizers had to adapt quickly when the festival, which was originally slated as a one-day experience called Multiverse, sold out within minutes. Luckily for fans who missed the original sale, a second day was added to the festival. The lineup will be the same both days, minus G Jones on the second day.
However, the second day also sold out before many people had a chance to purchase tickets. Porter Robinson’s extremely loyal fan base, mixed with Second Sky’s excellently-curated lineup, make for a powerful combination.
