Watch Skrillex and Boys Noize unload tons of new Dog Blood IDs on BUKU in New Orleans
The dance music world was beside themselves when Skrillex and Boys Noize announced their first mainstage return as Dog Blood, the pair’s feverish acid house side-project. This past weekend, while headlining BUKU Music + Arts Project out on the banks of the Mississippi, the super duo unleashed countless new unreleased tracks on their crowd inside New Orleans’ Mardi Gras World. So much so that everyone walked away in shock and delight.
Not only did the performance confirm that new music was imminent, further confirming older rumors that the OWSLA and Boys Noize Records head honcho’s were in the studio together, but it raised eyebrows that a new project could be coming any day now. In fact, Skrillex even took to Twitter on the closing day of the festival to confirm it was happening “very soon.” Also, watch out for more Dog Blood performances out at Ultra Miami this weekend, followed by a performance later this summer at Sunset Tampa.
