Adele gets spitefully playful with fans, teases forthcoming ’30’ LP as a ‘drum n bass record’
“30 will be a drum n bass record to spite you. Chin up, eh,” says Adele in a social media post today, celebrating her 31st birthday while expressing a simultaneous excitement that age 30 is behind her.
The milestone year has been a tumultuous one for the British superstar. Adele recently split from husband Simon Konecki. The couple has a six-year-old son, Angelo. She alluded to their separation in her Instagram, writing,
“No matter how long we’re here for, life is constant and complicated at times. I’ve changed drastically in the last couple years and I’m still changing and that’s okay. 31 is going to be a big ol’ year and I’m going to spend it all on myself.”
Then the multi-Grammy award winner proceeded to drop some knowledge and positivity on her audience: “Be kind to yourself people we’re only human, go slow, put your phone down and laugh out loud at every opportunity. Learning to REALLY truly love yourself is it, and I’ve only just realized that that is more than enough,” she continued before hinting that a new album could be on the way soon.
