REZZ signals ‘Dark Age’ coming, unveils first single off incoming summer EP

Recently, Neptune goddess REZZ took to Twitter saying that this week was a good time to be a fan of hers—and, girls and boys, was she ever right. Yesterday, REZZ revealed the release date and full tracklist for her incoming EP. Now, she’s unveiled the project’s first official single in “Dark Age.”

The single is a teasing reminder of the bleak darkness that’s in store for REZZ’s full EP, which is due July 24. Complete with haunting back tones, tinker box chimes, and a pummeling bassline driving the song forward, “Dark Age” is an instant REZZ classic. It’s a track whose depth and structure could make it the main component stringing together her hypnotic, soul-stealing live sets.

The impending EP, entitled Beyond The Senses, is REZZ’s first independently released project, which the producer was excited to announce yesterday. The project, which will be released on REZZ Music Inc., could very well mark the next, post-mau5trap chapter for the burgeoning young producer.

 

Next up for REZZ is her May 18 appearance at EDC Las Vegas, where fans can expect tons of new material to be heard. The new EP is available for pre-order  on Apple Music.
