GRiZ returns with three-track ‘Bangers[1].Zip’ EP, announces second leg of Ride Waves tour

Only a few ago, future funk engineer and darling boy GRiZ delivered his sixth studio album, Ride Waves, along with an accompanying album tour. Now the man behind the music, Grant Kwiecinski has not only surprised released a heavy, three-track EP in Bangers[1].Zip. He’s also shared extended tour dates for his Ride Waves tour — what GRiZ is calling “season two.”

Comprised of three effortlessly unique tracks, “Voodoo” ft. Superlove, “No Bad Trips,” and “Ice Cream,” the three pack effort marks a return to GRiZ’s classic dubstep upbringings. While “Voodoo” delves into a reggae-influenced terrain, with some chill wubs along the way, the EP’s latter two tracks venture into full-on thrasher territory, but not without some calming horns to balance the scales.
