The Friday Wrangler: David Guetta enlists Aloe Blacc, BTSM remixes Excision and Illenium, plus new music from Maceo Plex, Habstrakt, and more
Friday in the music industry is the biggest day of the week! Not only does it mark the beginning of the weekend’s many live shows ahead, it also brings a succession of new music from some of electronic music’s most visible artists. This week, there’s just so much good music arriving that we’ve gathered it all together for you in our next edition of The Friday Wrangler.
This week wrangles selections from REZZ, TroyBoi, and ATliens‘ respective new EPs, along with DJ Snake’s sophomore LP and a BTSM remix from Excision’s recent APEX remix album. Additionally, NGHTMRE and A$AP Ferg released a short remix pack for “RED LIGHT.”
Several amazing collaborative pairings also make up this week’s new music edition, including The Chainsmokers and Illenium, Luttrell and Ben Böhmer, Seven Lions and Above & Beyond, and more. David Guetta calls on vocals from Aloe Blacc on “Never Be Alone,” while SICK INDIVIDUALS enlists Kepier for “Right Next To You.” Also, new original music arrives from Maceo Plex, Habstrakt, Yotto, Austrian songwriter/producer filous, and more this week.
