Chris Lake and Chris Lorenzo have been hitting festival mainstays all summer long for their duetted powerhouse performance that blend off-the-wall house beats with spaced out synths. Now the pair reconvened under their mega-alias, Anti Up, on a distinctive track that forwards their signature off-kilter sound. Titled “Right Now,” the track follows their earlier release in the year, “Concentrate,” and the celebrated Hey Pablo EP, released in late December.
Moreover, the track contributes to a larger movement within house music that ventures outside of four-to-the-floor beats to explore multiple tempos, spacey synths, and driving bass lines. It’s a direction that house music has needed, signaling Anti Up as leaders in forwarding the future direction of the genre.
