RL Grime is a name that has become analogous with trap music. After releasing a seminal sophomore album in NOVA last year, which graced many Top Albums of the Year lists, the pioneering producer has been busy on his own with the release of his fully instrumental offering of the album, NOVA Pure. But more than his own studio adventures, Henry Steinway’s 2019 conquests have been primarily focused on the unenviable task of running a fully focused label in Sable Valley.

At this point, the imprint has less than ten official releases on its calling card, all of which give greater insight into the kind of sonic vision Steinway is seeking to cultivate for his budding new brand. Now RL Grime has just announced a new venture that offers a glimpse into Sable Valley’s future, which he is calling the Research & Development tour.

Alongside RL Grime, the tour will feature well-known bass purveyors like Boombox Cartel, Baauer, WHIPPED CREAM, Jackal, Jawns, and more. Seven dates have been listed thus far, with stops in Brooklyn, Dallas, Denver, and Atlanta, along with three more cities to be announced.

Tickets have yet to go on sale, but fans can sign up for info on Sable Valley’s official website.
