Eptic releases ‘Flesh & Blood’ LP ahead of 2019 tour

When Eptic first blasted onto the scene with 2012’s Like a Boss EP, the release gave him a musical wunderkind appeal on his then-home label at Never Say Die. Since then, the Belgian dubstep producer has solidified himself one of the most formidable young players in head-thrashing bass music. After a string of more successful releases on Never Say Die and Spinnin’ Records, and the recently released heavy-hitting “SouthSide” with DJ Snake, Eptic has become a bonafide EDM mainstay.

Now Eptic makes his Monstercat debut with a highly-anticipated EP, Flesh & Blood. The five-track project featuring three brand new songs brimming with dark, driving, and ominous sounds. After releasing a couple of teasers in “Let it Go” with Dillon Francis and “Power” earlier this summer, the rounded-out EP shows off Eptic’s dynamic sound even further. From the nefarious tones and serrated bass lines of “Violence,” to the video game-inspired samples and dreamy riffs of “Beyond The Stars,” the entire EP is a hybrid monstrosity of grimey dubstep, trap, bass, and heavy electro. It’s a sound that is sure to melt faces and minds at every festival main stage this fall.

To celebrate the release of his Flesh & Blood EP, which Eptic says is the “the most blood, sweat, and tears” he’s put into a musical project, he’s hitting the road on a headlining tour by the same name. Dates run from mid-October thorugh mid-December, with TYNAN as support. Tickets are available of EPTIC’s website.
