M83 continue album rollout with ‘Feelings’ [WATCH]

This week marks the time when M83 will release their new instrumental LP, DSVII. The project serves as the sequel to the group’s 2007 ambient album, Digital Shades Vol. 1, as well as showcases a whole new realm in the M83 experience. Now the electronic/alt-rock crossover band releases the forthcoming album’s third and final teaser in “Feelings.”

The track’s official video, directed by Bertrand Mandico, is the third part of a surreal short film called Extazus. It continues the narrative from the last two M83 releases, “Lune de fel” and “Temple of Sorrow,” but its storyline and aesthetic falls into the extreme of avante-garde. It’s so open to interpretation, you’ll just have to watch to piece together it’s meaning for yourself.
