Lane 8’s forthcoming LP is shaping up nicely with brilliant second single, ‘Sunday Song’
Lane 8‘s third studio album, Brightest Lights, is shaping up rather brilliantly. The San Fransisco-based producer and This Never Happened label head has released the second single off the incoming LP project, “Sunday Song.” The new single follows last month’s release of the album’s title track, “Brightest Lights,” featuring the soothing vocals of POLIÇA.
“Sunday Song” is a delightfully deep tune that builds into euphoric, euphonic bliss. The all-new solo original features all the signature qualities that make Lane 8’s tranquil elements so calming and reflexive. While he produces somewhere in the realm of deep house, the wonderful thing about Lane 8 is his marked ability to create chill, lush sonic sonnets that sooth and relax. “Sunday Song” is no exception, with angelic vocal samples, slow and cascading builds, euphoric releases, and snare hits that ground the listener in a steady, four-to-the-floor tempo.
Lane 8’s Brightest Lights is slated for full independent release on January 10, 2020 via his own imprint, This Never Happened.
