Lane 8 enlists Arctic Lake on powerful new single, ‘Don’t Let Me Go’
January 10, 2020 is inching closer and closer. The date is significant for Lane 8 fans because it marks the release of the Bay Area-based producer’s next full-length studio album, Brightest Lights. Already, Lane 8 has released the POLIÇA-assisted title track and “Sunday Song.” Now the third track from the forthcoming LP has landed, “Don’t Let Me Go,” featuring British trio Arctic Lake, and it’s sheer power and majesty is almost inexplicable.
Simply put, “Don’t Let Me Go” is a masterpiece that will leave you not only speechless but breathless. Like a punch to the stomach, this is a song that demands to be felt. Lane 8 leaves his signature organic house marks on the track: smooth synths, beautiful arps, and woefully wonderful progressive builds, all woven together with delicacy and grace. These masterfully-conjured compositional elements are guided by Emma Foster’s reflective and thoughtful vocals. In short, this is Lane 8’s best work to date… and that’s not a statement to be taken lightly.
Lane 8’s Brightest Lights LP will land on his own independent label, This Never Happened.
