Bass Physics links with Covex on nostalgic melodic bass cut, ‘Keep Me Up’ ft. Luma

As friends, collaborators, and Denver residents, it was only a matter of time before Bass Physics and Covex joined forces. The two local Mile High artists have come together on a refreshing melodic bass track, titled “Keep Me Up.” The track also enlists Luma‘s brilliant vocals, putting her verses front and center as her lyrics light the way.

“Keep Me Up” is a nostalgic track pulling its inspiration from the early days of the melodic movement. With notes and progressions that call up Adventure Club, Illenium, and Seven Lions circa 2014, the track still maintains an identity all its own through Bass Physic’s signature guitar plucks and Covex’s treatments on the bass lines. The track is both sunny and shady, somber and uplifting, and heavy and melodic, all at once. By the end of the journey, “Keep Me Up” represents a perfectly balanced composition between a well-known artist, a rising newcomer, and one of dance music’s favorite vocalists.
