pluko, Manila Killa, and ilo ilo churn out vibrant new single from their shared time on tour

When pluko and ilo ilo joined Manila Killa as support along his Spring/Fall headlining tour, the three indie-tronica artists didn’t expect to come off the road with a new collaboration. Yet, the best art emerges naturally as a reflection of life. That is exactly what “on the way” aims to display.

Combining their unique and complimentary sounds, the three producers have released a brand new collaboration on Moving Castle. The release also serves as the final of the year for all three producers, who have individually reached career highs on their own in 2019. The chemistry and compatibility between the producers’ styles is immediately evident, with ilo ilo explaining:

“we write a lot of songs about heartbreak. This isn’t one of those songs. We wanted to find a cool way to bridge our three sonic worlds.”

Initially what started as a session between Manila Killa and ilo ilo evolved into full blown collaboration between the three acts, taking shape in the form of single that Manila Killa claims “came together pretty quickly.” Organic and ethereal, light-hearted and energetic, and also wildly imaginative, “on the way” shows the three artists finishing off the year strong.
