SubDocta releases genre-bending ‘CBDB’ EP
SubDocta is back again with another heavy-hitting project. Fresh on the heels of his summer 2019 Swonkle EP, the versatile bass producer has released four original tracks and a remix with his new CBDB EP. The West Coast wobble master stepped out of his SubCarbon home to release the project on 19k Records.
Featuring a blend of styles and everything from dubstep to experimental to drum and bass, the project changes gears effortlessly while retaining a coherent sound. Fellow bass music producers Freddy Todd and TLZMN contributed to the project as well, lending their expertise to SubDocta’s already refined sound. Seamlessly moving between genres, every track on this project is heavy but groovy, and closes out with a Wolf-e-Wolf remix.
The EP is an obvious display of the production prowess of the already-established SubCarbon Records star. Between SubDocta’s forward-thinking production and choice collaborators, the five-track EP represents 19K Records’ mission to celebrate the next generation of bass music.
