Ubbi Dubbi returns to DFW with initial 2020 line-up: Adventure Club, Illenium, Kaskade, & more
Following the success of their sold-out debut, Disco Donnie Presents (DDP) has announced the return of their flagship springtime event, Ubbi Dubbi Festival. The two-day event, held April 18-19, is set to return the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex. With a star-studded phase one artist lineup of Adventure Club, Illenium, Camelphat, Green Velvet, Kaskade, and Seven Lions, attendees can expect more artist announcements over the coming months. Over forty more artists, to be exact, all spanning the range of house and techno to dubstep, trap, and bass.
Whereas the inaugural event took place in a riverside park overlooking downtown Ft. Worth, the sophomore installment is shifting across town to the Texas Rangers stadium, Global Met Life Park. While there was reason given for shifting from the beautiful outdoor space, the new location will certainly bring about nostalgic memories of Something Wonderful. As DDP’s former premier spring festival, which was held inside the Cottonbowl, the event failed due to unlucky weather conditions plaguing the gathering every year. Thus, they took a furlough year to rebrand and Ubbi Dubbi was born.
