Carl Cox & Friends reveals 10-date North American tour concept, Carl Cox: Invites
In today’s over-saturated big box festival culture, there’s only one who can deliver a mainstage set while transporting dancers to old school warehouse rave: Sir Carl Cox. Now the techno/house godfather proudly presents his newest 2020 tour concept, Carl Cox: Invites.
The tour, which hits over 12 cities in thirty days, will include three stops at EDC Mexico, San Diego’s CRSSD, and Ultra Miami, where the much-loved DJ also hosts his techno takeover on his very own Resistance-branded stage.
Beyond festival dates, Cox will kick off the club tour on February 29 in Los Angeles, where he’ll be joined by Kölsch and Nic Fanciulli. There’s also dates in Denver, Chicago, Dallas, Atalanta, DC, and a two-night closing run in Brooklyn where the EDM Knight will be joined by tons of dance music legends.
“We’re expecting a lot from ourselves on this one,” Cox said of the tour in a press release. “I think all of us want that amazing feeling where the dance floor and the DJ are one. The artists that will join me on this tour understand this because they were clubbers first, and I know we have something very special when we play together. I’m excited to get back on the road and see what the US has in store for us!”
