Backwoods Music Festival delivers diverse initial lineup for 2020 gathering
Tucked away in the Ozark National Forest in Northeast Arkansas, Backwoods Music Festival is returning to Mulberry Mountain for the annual three-day music and art extravaganza. Backwoods is one of the first transcendental gatherings to kick off the summer festival season, June 4-7, setting the perfect tone for the rest of the year.
Backed by the lush foliage of the mountainside, The Devil Makes Three, G Jones, Gramatik, Rebelution, and Tycho will fulfill the headlining role to create an etherial experience for all in attendance. Tycho and LunoSol Productions are teaming up to create a one-of-a-kind projection mapped stage for the 2020 event.
The initial lineup is stacked with progressive folk and jam artists as well as electronic dance music DJs, merging the two energies effortlessly once again. The supporting artists on the electronic side, ranging from deep house to experimental bass, includes AC Slater, Detox Unit, Jade Cicada, Opiuo, and PLS&TY, to name a few.
Rounding out the live band portion of the lineup includes artists Andy Frasco & the U.N., Dirtfoot, Handmade Moments, Keller Williams, Papadosio, Twiddle, and more. The diverse music offered by this festival paired with mother nature’s backdrop makes Backwoods a memorable experience for all to call home.
