Four Tet enlists Ellie Goulding on new euphoric new single, ‘Baby’

Coming off the recent new of his forthcoming studio album, Sixteen Oceans, Four Tet has wasted no time in releasing the LP’s next single. As the second single release from his upcoming album, “Baby” features pop singer and dance music’s favorite vocalist, Ellie Goulding.

At it’s core, “Baby” is an effortless groover showcasing Four Tet’s masterful production marks. The single lays down a dreamy landscape eclipsed by euphoric chords, catchy percussion, organic textures, and a heavy beat that hits straight to the heart. Goulding’s light-hearted vocals fits perfectly with the record’s chill, experimental tones.

Sixteen Oceans marks a follow-up to Four Tet’s 2017 album, New Energy, as well as two live LPs and the three-track record, Anna Painting, which landed last summer. His forthcoming album appropriately features 16 songs, including the previously released track, “Teenage Birdsong.”
