Movement Detroit releases staggering 2020 line-up

When it comes to America’s most celebrated underground music events, festival promoters Paxahau know a thing or two about techno. As the organizers behind the globally-renowned Movement Detroit, they seem to curate a line-up year after year that constantly outdoes itself. Not only that, Movement’s billing puts artists in conversation for the next year’s top bookings around the US.

Movement has now unveiled the full lineup for its 2020 installment, which returns to Hart Plaza in the heart of Detroit on Memorial Day Weekend, May 23 – 25. The full offering follows Movement’s annual lineup teaser, which this year included techno titans Adam Beyer, Maceo Plex, The Black Madonna, and more. Now, the urban festival has announced 85 additional acts along with day-by-day lineups.

The most anticipated feature of the 2020 bill is British tech maestros Underworld, whom are making their first live appearance in Detroit in over 20 years. It also marks their Movement debut. Additional acts to get house and techno lovers excited include Ardalan, Carl Craig, Chris Lake, Claud VonStroke, hot newcomer Dom Dolla, Four Tet, Jon Hopkins, Justin Martin, Lee Foss, TOKiMONSTA, past headliner TESTPILOT, MK, Walker & Royce, and so many more. To keep things interesting, organizers have even included their one hip-hop beneficiary, which this year comes from A$AP Ferg.

GA/VIP passes for three-day and single-day are on sale now.
