Seismic Dance Event 3.0 to make spring 2020 return with Adam Beyer, Claude VonStroke, & more
When Seismic Dance Event debuted in September 2018, the Austin-based event immediately turned heads across the region — especially for those underground seekers. Then, the two-day warehouse-styled house and techno festival geared up to hit even harder the following November with TESTPILOT and Cirez D atop the line-up. Suddenly, Seismic was impossible to ignore.
Now it would appear as if Seismic is taking place in hyper speed as organizers have pushed up the event to May 22 through 23. The reason behind the change is that the venue Seismic had come to call home, the Austin American Statesman, is being torn down. But not before a third edition of epic proportion, with Adam Beyer, Bonobo, Carl Craig, Claptone, Claude VonStroke, Maceo Plex, Öona Dahl, Pan Pot, Sasha Robotti, and many more greats heading to the “live music capitol of the world.” And that’s only phase one.
2020’s indoor/outdoor event, which anticipates hosting less than 5,000 attendees, features two main stages and a third alcove for regional talent. The Volcano Stage brings the industry’s hottest techno acts, while progressive and deep house artists take to the Tsunami stage. Housed under the umbrella of their independent company, Real Music Events, Seismic is the brainchild of husband-wife duo, Kelly Gray and Andrew Parsons.
Tickets to Seismic 3.0 are available on the event’s website.
