Four Tet & Squidsoup to bring immersive AV experience stateside for two nights only
After a highly lauded DJ performance at Coachella 2019, English electronic producer Four Tet is returning to the US. For this round of exclusive shows, Four Tet is teaming up with lighting collective Squidsoup to deliver their one-of-a-kind collaborative audio/visual experience. While they’ve teamed up a handful of times for the fully immersive spectacle, this marks the first time they will bring the live show stateside. It’s a truly evocative performance that has been gaining notoriety since their iconic Boiler Room set (watch below).
For those who may not be familiar with Squidsoup, they’re the UK based collective of six artists, designers, programmers, and researchers responsible for award-winning interactive art experiences. Their collaborative project with Four Tet has taken them around the world—from London’s Alexandria Palace to the Sydney Opera House. The world-famous collaborative effort uses a collection of stringed LED lights twinkling in unison with Four Tet’s captivating, calming, and atmospheric sonic landscapes. Sound and lights merge for one truly evocative and dreamlike experience.
