It’s widely accepted belief that Tame Impala will be going down as the voice of a generation. The psychedelic rock six-piece, led by frontman Kevin Parker, released their seventh studio album, The Slow Rush, into wide circulation only a few weeks ago. While it won’t be until Tame Impala’s next tour, which runs March through September, where fans will first begin to see these tracks being played out live, the band has delivered two of the LP’s single on Jimmy Kimmel Live! for the very first time.
Performing “Lost In Yesterday” and “Breathe Deeper” in comedy primetime late last night, Parker and the whole crew led the tiny studio audience crowd to bliss with their synth-charged sound. Certainly, the performance leaves many Tame Impala fans giddy with excitement over what is to come on tour, which begins March 25.
Check out the video footage and be sure to catch Tame Impala playing across North America and Australia, with Clairo, MGMT, and Perfume Genius all along as support.
