CloZee releases serene sunrise set from Envision Festival 2020

CloZee has undisputedly become the darling of Envision Festival over the past several years. Playing for her fourth year at the Costa Rica transformational event, the French glitch goddess delivered a majestic sunrise set Monday morning on the Luna stage. Serene, tranquil, soothing, and spiritually renewing, the set was meant to be a detoxifying experience for festival goers at the tenth year anniversary. Especially considering how some attendees were going for the seven full days.

Throughout the hour-and-fifteen-minute journey, CloZee takes her crowd on a full spectrum sonic journey through soft textures, ethereal atmospheres, worldly tones, undulating basslines, soothing downtempo, and, yes, some energizing glitchier moments to bring the crowd up. The set ended up being one of the most-talked-about, “had-to-be-there” type moments of the week. To put it succinctly, the experience was a downright “heart blowing” one—as attendees have come to coin the term as play off of “mind blowing.”

Obvious though it may be, CloZee’s fusion of world, glitch, and bass present the perfect concoction of frequencies for the sunrise set. That much is clear as evidenced by her Burning Man sunrise set from 2019. It’s only a matter of time before CloZee goes down in the ranks of the sunrise greats, including Tycho, Emancipator, and Random Rab.
