Flume announces first three-night Red Rocks run, ‘Flume & Friends’
With a top-line Coachella performance already on the books, Flume (real name Harley Streten) is just warming up with 2020 show announcements. The Aussie experimentalist now announces his first-ever three-night run at Red Rocks Amphitheater, Flume & Friends. With support from a host of talented friends and collaborators, Flume will joined by Cashmere Cat and Shlohmo on June 8. June 9 will see Mura Masa, Clams Casino, and KUÇKA. June 10 will bring SOPHIE and Toro Y Moi.
The weekend-long event will celebrate three chapters of Flume’s career. With three major projects under his belt, fans can expect Streten to play edited live selects from his debut self-titled album, Flume, his sophomore full-length, Skin, and his most recent Grammy-nominated project form 2019, Hi This Is Flume.
Flume also recently announced his newest single with Toro Y Moi, titled “The Difference,” which is a drum and bass cut set for a March 11 release. The tune originally surfaced in a Flume Essentials Spotify playlist under the cryptic artist name, 300ZX Z31. However, fans were quick to uncover that it wasn’t a moniker at all, but the name of the Nissan 300ZX series model car that Flume is depicted in he and Vera Blue‘s 2019 music video for “Rushing Back.”
