Kaskade & Blue Noir – I Have Dreams ft. Tishmal
Kaskade has never been one to waste time. Hot on the heels of his Redux 004 EP just last week, now the LA-based progressive house icon (aka Ryan Raddon) is back with “I Have Dreams,” another brand new track to carry fans through these difficult times. He teamed up with Australian newcomers Blue Noir and NYC-based vocalist Tishmal for the emotive and groovy song. “I Have Dreams” delivers distorted melodies and ethereal vocals that have become a key part of Kaskade’s sound, which build into deep, reverberating basslines perfect for after-hours vibes.
The collaboration was originally intended to be part of Kaskade’s upcoming studio album, according to the chatter circulating in his tight-knit fan community. However, Raddon recognizes that what the dance community needs now more than ever during quarantine is music: “Music is a true healer,” says Raddon. “Everyone enjoys the distraction and the connection.”
“It just dawned on me that I have one way to maybe help some of my audience smile and keep going, even if it’s only for the next 3 minutes,” said Kaskade in a press statement. “They have supported me with almost evangelical loyalty through the years, the least I can do is start just releasing as much music as possible right now so we can stay connected in that way.”
A conscious way to consume EDM.
