Introducing tiedye ky: Philadelphia rising talent celebrates Earth Day with a beautiful new track, ‘Save The Earth’

Here at Conscious Electronic, we love all things bass — breakbeat, downtempo, left-field, experimental, dubstep in all its forms, you name it. As the underground bass movement has begun its full ascendancy in the US, we’ve been keeping a finger on the pulse of up-and-coming bass artists the country over. As such, CE’Rising Bass Spotlight seeks to shine a light onto the rising producers who’re honing their craft, galvanizing their movements, and attuning eyes, ears, heads, and bodies into all things low end.

Today is Earth Day and what better way to celebrate Mother Earth than with a track dedicated to her? Rising bass talent tiedye ky has finally released the track that fans have been patiently waiting for, ever since Space Jesus debuted the ID at Lost Lands. The track is titled “Save The Earth” and it has just been released under Space Jesus’ independent record label, Moon Dot Records.

The Philadelphia based producer has been on the come-up for quite some time now and it seems he is perfectly situated to make his mark in the scene. Back in 2018, tiedye ky opened for the CharlesTheFirst‘s The Ascent Tour. The two have been friends ever since, working closely together, and even collaborating on their “Love & Enemies” track, which the pair released last year. He also joined Space Jesus on his Moon.Landing tour at the beginning of this year and has earned some very well deserved spots at Camp Bisco, Moon.Beach, Wakaan Fest, and Okeechobee. He actually closed out Okee at the Incendia stage last month, making him what could be the last festival set of 2020.

Known for mastering both the beautiful melodic side and the heavy-hitting low end, “Save The Earth” perfectly combines those two ends of the spectrum as it sends a very meaningful message about saving the earth. ky’s signature sounds that fans have come to know and love start to come through just before his very own vocals come in around the halfway mark. Filled with prominent beats, deep distorted bass, and vibrant tones, tiedye ky continues to prove himself a sound bender and genre-crossing bandit with this dutiful bass cut.

Show tiedye ky, and the earth, some love today. Blast this at high volume as we consciously create a brighter future. You can also catch tiedye ky tonight as he joins some other fan-favorites Digital Ethos, Chee, Abelation, and more for the Stream Sermon, which kicks off at 7pm EST on Sermon Nation’s Twitch.
