GRiZ announces ‘Bangers[5].Zip’ EP with three new hot and heavy track teasers
Arriving as a long-overdue announcement for the GRiZ family, the man Grant Kwiecinski has finally pulled back the curtain on his Bangerz[5].Zip EP. The highly-anticipated next installment is, of course, the fifth in the line of Bangerz.Zip EPs that have been bludgeoning fans’ ears, minds, and hearts since last June when the Denver-based jack-of-all-genres returned with the second wave of his Ride Waves tour.
Kwiecinski took to Instagram to give fans a boisterous teaser of three of the EP’s new tracks. Those tracks include an old-school dubstep banger, “The Baddest,” a trapped-out banger in “MPAI Pt 3” ft. ProbCause and Chrishira, and an otherworldly house cut with “Spaceship Ride.” By the sounds of it all, it’s clear GRiZ is getting back to his heavy roots on all three tracks while continuing along with his new house kick with the Night Bass Records smash hit, “Could U.”
Previously, we thought the track would surely be included in the new EP, which is due out on May 8, but it would appear otherwise since every Bangers.Zip EP has been strictly contained to three tracks. If nothing else, the series of no-frills releases over the past year have proven GRiZ is just having fun with full creative control. Here’s to keeping the world guessing, Grant!
