Relive Porter Robinson’s Secret Sky Virtual Festival with sets from G Jones, Madeon, and more

In the midst of Stay At Home orders still gripping a lot of the nation, Porter Robinson knew the second iteration of his Second Sky Festival would surely be postponed until 2021. The event was supposed to take place in mid-June, although no official announcement was ever made. So Robinson took to the online format as so many in the dance music industry have been doing to keep fans appeased. Thus, the virtual spin-off Secret Sky was born and the one-day event blew the competition out of the water for the weekend.

In an age of live stream oversaturation, where so many live stream events taking place are beginning to become overwhelming, Secret Sky raised the bar in terms of artist selection, production, and logistics. No surprise there as Brownies & Lemonade was on the back-end making sure everything ran smoothly throughout the day. 100 percent of the funds raised during the show were donated to MusiCares COVID-19 Relief Fund, so fans could rest easy knowing they were supporting a great cause.

The event saw expertly-delivered sets from G Jones, Madeon, San Holo, Jai Wolf, and more. A surprise throwback set from DJ Potaro (Robinson’s 2010-style electro house set) was the best surprise of the weekend, along with new music from Porter Robinson including a collab with Lil B and a new track from his upcoming album, Nurture.
