Relive EDC Las Vegas’ Virtual-Rave-A-Thon with these live sets [WATCH]

Following the official postponement of Electric Daisy Carnival‘s flagship festival in Las Vegas, Pasquale Rotella pulled out all the stops for his next Virtual Rave-A-Thon event. Granted, every single themed virtual gathering has skipped no detail in delivering some of the web’s best-produced quarantine streams. Just look to Middlelands, Escape, and Nocturnal Wonderland for some meticulously planned and miraculously themed live streams. Still, the EDC Las Vegas Virtual Rave-A-Thon was by far the most elaborate and precise.

Complete with 42 artists, who either streamed from their home studios, bedrooms, or ventured to the Insomniac HQ in Los Angles, the stream went off without a hitch. However, it was inside HQ that production was next level. From a projection-mapped tunnel complete with a dolly shot, towering LED backdrops, a crane camera that swiveled overhead, and countless lights and lasers, this was a space every dance music producer would want to play. Sans the actual stages at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, that is.

Now dance music fans can relive the experience in typical Insomniac vein because sets are all held natively on Insomniac’s YouTube and Twitch accounts. In addition, recorded audio is now available thanks to SoundCloud user @Vekst, who has uploaded a selection of sets from ZHU, Zeds Dead, Flosstradamus, Ekali, Vini Vici, and many more

The 2020 edition of EDC Las Vegas is currently slated for October 2-4, although the Insomniac Events team is working with local authorities and taking planning day-by-day. As COVID-19 continues to push festivals and events back further, the possibility that a full-on cancellation for 2020 could happen is not out of the question.
