DoLaB unveils incredible line-up + schedule for LiB DGTL

The infamous West Coast music and arts festival, Lighting in a Bottle, had previously announced that they would be going digital over Memorial Day Weekend, which is their original IRL weekend. They’ve now just announced the full lineup, set times and dates, as well as some other fun things they have in store for fans to experience online which includes a multitude of different workshops, yoga classes, cooking lessons, cultural teachings, and so much more! This event isn’t just streaming music — it’s got everything that attendees would be able to experience if they were really there.

Kicking off on May 22, this three-day event will see sets from none other than An-ten-nae, Atyya, Beats Antique, CloZee, Dirtwire, Four Tet, Justin Jay, Opiuo, Random Rab,The Funk Hunters,The Glitch Mob, TokiMonsta, and Tycho, just to name a few. The lineup is insanely stacked from top to bottom and many other fan favorites are included in the mix. It’s sure to be a beautiful weekend of music for consciously-attuned bass lovers. Lighting in a Bottle has also teamed up with their long-time studio partners, Vita Motus, to give attendees a truly one of a kind immersive experience. Together, they’ve created a beautiful landscape of the festivals grounds for fans to move around in. A few of the sets will actually be on the stages seen in this dream-like digital world that they’ve put together. It will also showcase one of the new designs they’ve come up with for their lake stage. Vita Motus shared that they think “Lightning in a Bottle is an ideal environment to showcase our realtime rendering capabilities because of its completely unique architecture, iconic design, and immersive content.” See what they’ve got so far.

This is already shaping up to be one of the most well thought out, creative, and innovative livestreams that this quarantine has seen. It could very well lead the way for the near future of the music industry. One thing’s for sure though, the excitement surrounding it is real.
