The Glitch Mob celebrate 10 years of ‘Drink The Sea’ with virtual listening party

Before COVID-19 struck, The Glitch Mob were on pace to have an incredible 2020. The LA-based three-piece outfit were gearing up to celebrate the ten-year anniversary of their debut album Drink The Sea, with a monumental 36-date tour. Then the pandemic hit the United States, making The Glitch Mob one of the first artists to pull out of their touring deals in favor of public health and safety.

That is not to say that the group hasn’t been extremely productive during the quarantine. In addition to their amazing live streams, The Glitch Mob have release their three-track Chemicals EP with Boreta and Ooah igniting their 29 Palms off-shoot project with a debut EP, titled Nobody Horizon.

In place of their Drink The Sea X tour, The Glitch Mob have elected for a 10-year anniversary listening party, which took place over the interwebs on Monday, May 25. The “deep listening experience” gave fans a fully immersed AV experience in their decade-long album tribute, complete with stunning visuals that took fans on a journey. Thankfully, they’ve decided to let the event live on forever because hour-long experience has a permanent home on The Glitch Mob’s YouTube channel.
