The LP release comes with a Golden Hour Festival live stream, which premieres tonight Friday, May 29, at 4pm EST.
The wait is finally over for Kygo‘s third full-length studio album, Golder Hour. The album title couldn’t be more fitting insofar as it is completely in line with Kygo’s sun-kissed sunset/tropical sound stamp. Kygo has been teasing the star-powered project for over two months now, of course, with the already-released records “Like It Is,” “I’ll Wait,” “Freedom,” “Lose Somebody,” and “The Truth.” Now, after months of anticipation, the fully-rounded LP arrives with a whopping 18 tracks and some high-powered collaborations.
To celebrate the release, Kygo recently announced that he is hosting an evening of music from Golden Hour along with his “Palm Tree Crew.” The event will feature special performances by Alan Walker, Jimmy Buffett, Chelsea Cutler, Sandro Cavazza, and more. “I’m celebrating my album launch with some amazing artists and finishing it off by performing songs from Golden Hour for the first time,” Kygo said over his Instagram.
For the festival, Kygo fans can expect to be treated to live guest spots with Golden Hour collaborators. Fans can expect never-before-seen performances of singles like “Lose Somebody” with OneRepublic, “Beautiful” with Cavazza, “Someday” with Zac Brown, “How Would I Know” with Oh Wonder, “Hurting” with Rhys Lewis, and “Only Us” with Haux. Of course, Kygo will take the spotlight for a live performance as the sun sets on his beautiful lakeside property, complete with areal drone footage, stunning lighting design, and gorgeous backyard scenery.
The Golden Hour Festival is live streaming right now on Kygo’s YouTube channel. Tune in below to watch as well as stream Kygo’s third LP.
