Bassnectar and YOOKiE release psychedelic music video for ‘Open Your Mind’ [WATCH]

When Bassnectar debuted his YOOKiE collaboration, “Open Your Mind,” at his New Years Eve 360 event in Louisville, Tenneesee, he gave a slight disclaimer, “This is so new, it might not even work.” The 18K-person crowd collectively sounded off in unison with a gargantuan “ooph” at the song’s first drop. The live debut of the track also came with distinct CGI visuals that resembled more of a psychedelic trip through ancient, supernatural technologies.

Now that the bass music demigod has released his eleventh studio album, which houses the track, it’s only right for Bassnectar to release All Colors‘ very first official music video, which features the very same visuals as the night it was premiered. Of course, Bassnectar is known for debuting tracks with the official music video visuals, which later then evolve into new patterns as he mixes, mashes, and layers those tracks into complexity over time.
