Deadmau5 signs with United Talent Agency

Joel Zimmerman, better known as deadmau5, has been signed by United Talent Agency (UTA) for worldwide representation in all areas. UTA is a formidable player in all corners of the entertainment industry, representing electronic acts from Alesso, Morgan Page, and Adventure Club to 21 Savage, Muse, and Moby, and hundreds more from a wealth of other genres.

Deadmau5 will be represented by music agent Cheryl Paglierani, co-heads of Electronic Music, Kevin Gimble, and Steve Gordon, in the live music space. The titan agency will also represent deadmau5’s techno performance alias Testpilot, who recently co-headlined a concert in Miami with Ritchie Hawtin.

UTA also has deep roots in eSports, working with a stacked roster of professional gamers and online personalities. So the agency seems like the perfect fit for Zimmerman, who has headlined Epic Games’ Fortnite Party Royale in-game concert where he performed on a virtual stage. He also competes in tournaments under the gaming personae Dr. Disrespect, while deadmau5 appears as a playable avatar on Goat Simulator and other titles. His music is also featured in multiplayer online battle arena game Dota 2 and rhythm video game DJ Hero 2.
