Imagine Festival’s Chattahoochee Hills debut rescheduled for 2021

When Imagine Festival said they were moving to the old site of TomorrowWorld, Chattahoochee Hills in Georgia, the announcement was wishful thinking at best. After all, the COVID-19 pandemic is faring out to be as serious as global public health officials warned, stretching its grips into the fall and winter. Now the owners of the festival, Glen and Madelyn Goodhand, have issued a statement rolling the celebration into 2021. Imagine was originally slated to take place on September 18-20, 2020.

“Just two weeks ago as the country began to re-open, and numbers started to look more encouraging, we had our artwork approved and ready for a spectacular lineup announcement,” Imagine’s official statement reads. “We remained hopeful we could all come together again in the fall with the safety precautions set forth by the health professionals. Unfortunately, things have made a turn for the worse, and the number of cases continues to rise dramatically. This new rise in cases, and new projections from health professionals, make it extremely difficult to provide a safe environment with the unforgettable beautiful experiences we want you all to enjoy.”

2020 festival passes will automatically be transferred to the new Imagine 2021 dates. In addition, all current ticket holders will be upgraded to receive free admission to the Pre-Party show as a token of gratitude for “continued loyalty, love, and support.”
