Here at CE, we’re huge fans of the gritty, underground world of slippery, wobbly, pulsatingly heavy bass. That’s why we’ve had our eye on Samara Family Collective’s Super Future for a while, featuring him as part of our series’ like the Remix Radar and our weekly Mixweek Mantra Mix. Now the rising Grand Rapids artist, who has just teamed up with LA-based Spicy Boi Bagsss, whose also released on The Untz, Street Ritual, and Pantheon, to name a few.
The two promising underground bass talents have recently came together on their flip of MADEINTYO and A$AP Ferg’s “Ned Flanders.” The 3-minute-and-30-second track is a hip-hop tribute injected with slower and more experimental post-dubstep flavors. Complete with sawtooth synths, gritty low ends, and plenty of wubs, Super Future and Bagsss bring the undeniable energy that refuses to let anyone stay still on the dancefloor. The only downside to the track is that we have to wait so long to hear it live.
Be sure to catch Super Future on our next monthly episode of Wide Awake Radio, which airs on August 15.
