Deadmau5 is an innovator, most famously for house music, but more recently for a new foray into technology. With many successful streams on Twitch and Mixer under his belt, the time has come to expand the mouse house even further. He’s been on top of the game since quarantines initially began, and is now combining internet skills with his musical prowess to launch his own streaming platform: mau5trap.tv.
As many know, mau5trap is the name of the infamous deadmau5 label. While social distancing becomes the new normal for the world, the adaptability of musicians comes into question, and deadmau5 is setting the standard many will surely follow. The new platform is still in beta testing stages, but it’s debut show is coming soon. Fans can look forward to a 2 hour TESTPILOT (another name deadmau5 performs under) set on September 4 as the inaugural set, and it’s sure to be a virtual throwdown.
