Eazybaked, sfam, & G-Space come together on a triple-threat smasher, ‘Bubblegum’

What happens when three of the rising bass scene’s most promising acts join forces? A goopy, experimental bass cut that stands apart from the rest. EAZYBAKED, sfam, and G-Space have combined talents on a triple-threat smasher, “Bubblegum,” that sticks on the eardrums. From tours to festivals, these three have been known to work together closely. So a joint effort between the young bass mavens is a breath of fresh air.

When one normally thinks to “bubblegum” as a musical genre, bouncy rhythms and cheerful tones generally comes to mind. Don’t let the track’s title mislead, though. This tune feels quite literally as if one was stepping in sticky gum on a hot summer day. Each producer’s mark can be heard clearly on “Bubblegum”—between sfam’s minimal trap beats and off-kilter tempos, EAZYBAKED’s fourth-dimensional sounds, and G-Space’s bass-filled drops, and sinister tones form the lot. The only downside to the track is that it is only two-and-a-half-minutes long, leaving listeners yearning for more ooey, gooey sounds.
