An-Ten-Nae delivers charming little ditty, ‘Something Special’
An-ten-nae has been at it for the better part of two decades. So when the world bass producer steps outside of his wheelhouse, people are prone to pay attention. The San Francisco-based producer, who is recently coming off his Acid Voodoo LP, has just released a one-off single that dips down into chill, funky territory. The record, titled “Something Special,” is about that special ability we each possess that makes us unique.
Out now on Westwood Recordings, the solo effort is as effortless as it is meticulously constructed. With catchy vocal melodies, subdued beats, and subtle guitar strums, “Something Special” is organic, charming, nostalgic, and dynamic. All the while, the tune boasts calm, collected energy that uplifts and rejuvenates all the way through. It’s exactly the sort of style one might expect from a Westwood track. Take a listen below.
