Gorgon City and Evan Giia create vocal-driven house gem, ‘Burning’

UK and Chicago based duo of Kye Gibbon and Matt Robson Scott have been making quite the name for themselves as Gorgon City. The pair have carved out a distinct and instantly recognizable sound after producing a string of chart hits and underground dance floor moments. Following a Sofi Tukker collaboration and a Sonny Fodera and Dom Dolla remix, Gorgon City’s newest release “Burning” with Evan Giia is everything one would expect from a Gorgon City production.

Full of emotion, with a big anthemic feel, atmospheric synth tones, low rumbling horns, and warm bass, the song’s true power comes from Evan Giia’s resonant and soulful vocals. Written in March of this year during turbulent global times, this new release signifies the beginning of a new chapter for the duo that will lead into 2021 and beyond. The future is burning bright for Gorgon City with a new video for “Burning” in the pipeline, exciting news announcements for the new year, and a 2021 international tour planned.
