With Halloween weekend right around the corner, a weekend that’s usually packed with live events, more and more venues are starting to adopt the concept of drive-in live events. The idea is to give music fans a place to enjoy live performances in a safe, socially distant environment. Many artists have already started to announce Halloween shows in drive-in format, and one of the most anticipated ones is Day of the Deadmau5, hosted by legendary house music DJ & producer Deadmau5.
According to his website, Deadmau5 will be holding three shows in Chicago and Atlanta, with the first kicking off on October 29 at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. The October 30 and October 31 shows will touch down at Seatgeek Stadium in Chicago.
Deadmau5 will perform “unhooked,” replacing his signature Cubev3 (a 21-foot-tall cubic DJ booth) with a brand new stage setup, but retaining the retina-searing visuals and explosive sound production that characterize his live sets.
