Sébastien Léger delivers stunning Cercle set at the Great Pyramids of Giza
Leave it to Cercle to bring the world the month’s most stunning on-location set at the Great Pyramids of Giza in Egypt. This time around, the celebrated production company (and now label) has invited Sébastien Léger to the decks to deliver an hour-and-a-half-long set on a throwback modular synth rack. The set’s sound is perfectly in tune with the location, as house music dips into eastern-influenced, analog sounds with the incredible scenic views of the pyramids.
As one of the seven wonders of the ancient worlds, the Egyptian pyramids are thought by many to be powerful energy centers of the earth. As the very least, scientists have discovered that the Great Pyramid of Giza can collect and concentrate electromagnetic energy in its chambers and at its base. So when Cercle said this show at the Great Pyramids of Giza was over a year in the making, it’s wonderful to see how it all came to fruition.
