Manic Science has returned: Manic Focus and Break Science are back with ‘Mettawave’

The time has come for another soul-stunting Manic Science collaboration. Denver-based John “JmaC” McCarten, more widely known as Manic Focus, is once again joining forces with the boys of Break Science, Brooklyn’s dynamic duo made up of Adam Deitch and Borahm Lee. Combining their talents for funky hip-hop-infused beats, the trio makes their first return in three years with the whimsical groove, “Mettawave”.

Manic Science first entered the scene in 2014 with a bluesy sampled beat, “You Gotta Move”, and have since released a handful of tracks via their joint SoundCloud, as well as appeared together on stage at select festivals over the years. “Mettawave” distinguishes itself, however, with its completely organic production, free of samples and pre-recorded effects for a truly unique and synergized sound.

The best part? “Mettawave” is just a taste of what is to come. The electro-soul power group will be releasing their first-ever EP under their Manic Science banner sometime in early 2021, which is sure to keep the funky, groovy vibes flowing throughout quarantine. Listen to “Mettawave” now.
