Tripp St. kicks off debut album release on Odyzey Music with single, ‘I Am Back’
Breaking news in the experimental bass camp— mysterious entity Tripp St. officially debuts on CloZee’s label, Odyzey Music.
The enigmatic producer made waves in the electronic music community last spring with the debut mixtape, “Welcome to Tripp St.,” and has been bringing the heat ever since. Securing the No. 2 slot on our Artists to Watch in 2021 shortlist and features in our Rising Bass Spotlight with the “Block Party Mix,” as well as our Midweek Mantra Mix series with “Sermon Mix,” the same question arises again and again- Who is Tripp St.?
Bass enthusiasts everywhere have been vying to know who the mastermind is behind their mask of anonymity, and what the future holds for the curious case of musical talent. While the matter of the artist’s identity still remains unclear, Tripp St. has awarded fans’ patience with a figurative carrot. The highly-anticipated and long-awaited official debut from the beatmaker has crystallized in the form of an all-original track, “I Am Back,” which features insane visuals from CE Top Visual Artist, DRO1D. Better yet, the track surfaces with news that more original material is on the way.
Bound to bring more of their unique and delightfully experimental signature style, Tripp St.’s debut full-length album is due out on Friday, March 5 via CloZee‘s label Odyzey Music. This is all starting to smell very official. It’s a good sign that Tripp St. is more than just an exploratory and temporary side project, but a fresh new talent that has carved out their spot in the scene and is here to stay.
