Coming up in just a few year’s time, Los Angeles multi-instrumentalist and one-man marvel Gryffin has proven the sky is the limit. After closing out the year with a full-length concert film at LA’s The Shrine, and a Deluxe reissue of his debut studio album, Gravity, that was packed with VIPs, orchestral renditions, and redos, Gryffin returns at the top of 2020 just in time for Valentine’s Day. This time, he’s enlisted the help of Two Feet on a passionate Valentine’s Day treat in “I Want Love.”
The burning ballad combines the signature sonics of both artists, from Gryffin’s soaring melodic stamp to Two Feets’ fusion of jazz and blues with laid-back downtempo. Coy and affectionate, the collaborative joint builds gradually to a euphoric big room drop. Laced with Gryffin’s timeless harmony-led, pop-infused vocal stylistics and uplifting lyrical themes, and Two Feet’s operatic jazz, “I Want Love” is just what the Love Doctor ordered ahead of this year’s Hallmark holiday.
