Doctor P continues exploration into melodic realm with latest release, ‘Way to You’ ft. Dani Senior
From the same beat physician that brought the dubstep world bangers like “Flying Spaghetti Monster” and “Big Boss,” Doctor P is beckoning the new year with a brand new single called “Way to You.” Featuring the vocals of platinum-selling singer/songwriter Dani Senior, the song takes a more melodic and upbeat trajectory than old school Doctor P fans might be used to. Although the track echoes resemblances to his trademark aura, it appears the Doctor is on the cusp of forming a refreshed sound, one that is further enhanced by the angelic voice of Dani Senior.
While “Way to You” offers an indication of the direction that Doctor P wants to take his music, it was not the first clue. At the end of 2020, Shaun Brockhurst (Doctor P) delivered “Won’t Let Go,” which features similar melodic vibes to the current track in focus. With this collection of reinvigorated music, Doctor P is proving to the world that he’s a producer who can stand the test of time.
On the other side of this collaboration stands Dani Senior, someone who has been enjoying incredible success in her particular avenue. In addition to releasing music on labels such as Positiva and Spinnin’ Records, Senior has contributed work to Bastille’s label and even Warner UK. It’s clear that the London-based artist shows no sign of slowing down any time soon.
Both staple acts on Circus Records, Doctor P and Dani Senior have clearly established themselves as both potent assets on the flagship dubstep label as well as a collaborative duo to be reckoned with. Fans should expect nothing but fireworks if these two continue to work together.
