Flamingosis debuts music video for forthcoming album single, ‘Cosmic Feeling’
Future funk producer Flamingosis reveals a brand-new animated music video for his single “Cosmic Feeling.” Noted as his first release of 2021, “Cosmic Feeling” will be featured on his forthcoming album project set to debut later this year.
Recorded from a studio session at Color Red Studios in Denver, CO, “Cosmic Feeling” features live instrumentation from Jeff Franca (Drums/Percussion, Thievery Corporation), Borahm Lee (Keys, Break Science/Pretty Lights Live Band), Hunter Roberts (Bass), and Mike Tallman (Guitar, Euforquestra). Engineered by Tallman and Eddie Roberts (The New Mastersounds) and produced by Flamingosis, “Cosmic Feeling” combines a variety of unique sonic elements that transport audiences to an otherworldly place. Sampling the 1979 classic “If You Want It” by Niteflyte, Flamingosis pays homage to the Miami band while adding a unique 2021 spin on his new edit.
Debuting an 80s inspired animated video to coincide with the release, Flamingosis takes the viewer on a scenic ride down the coast and straight to the beach for a frisbee-filled day. As the day turns into night, glittery stars appear and the frisbee enters another galaxy where we find a disco party and full band performing on the moon.
“[The song] supposed to represent the end of your day. The frisbee players, spirit flamingos, and cosmic soul singers in the video tell us that you can achieve great things in life, as long as you’re willing to work for it! It’s also a reminder that whether you had a good or a bad day, the sun always sets, and a new day will begin soon.”

Following his 2020 releases “Wild Summer” and “Daymaker,” Flamingosis continues to roll out new music from his forthcoming studio album, which will see him depart from his largely sample-based production roots and bring prominent musicians into the forefront of his music. His unique blend of progressive future-funk style of electronic music has amassed him nearly 100 million lifetime streams across platforms and caught the attention of many notable artists in the electronic space such as Big Gigantic, GRiZ, Gramatik, Madeon, TOKiMONSTA, Yung Bae, and more.
Drawing from his own personal family history, Flamingosis continues to pay homage to his father and uncle in all of his artistic endeavors, who were world-renowned professional frisbee players back in the 1970s-1980s. His father and uncle coined the term “Flamingosis” as a frisbee move, hence the moniker and inspiration for the project.
Coming in as yet another remarkable single from Flamingosis’ catalogue of future-funk music, listen to and watch “Cosmic Feeling” now.
