Grammy-nominated Haywyre delivers ‘Wisdom’ on Insomniac’s new label, Lost In Dreams
Not many artists in the electronic music sphere have had the honor of being nominated for a Grammy, as Haywyre has for last year’s remix of Bazzi’s “Young and Alive,” but Martin Vogt is one of dance music’s most distinct creatives. Having toured extensively as a headline act and in support of artists like REZZ, Gramatik, and GRiZ, as well as releasing an acclaimed album series, Haywyre has catapulted himself further into the dance music spotlight time and again. Now, Haywyre releases “Wisdom” on Insomniac’s new label, Lost in Dreams.
The new track is the third track released by the new imprint this year, but the first solo project. The single leads with Haywyre’s expressive vocal notes and sonic melodies and features stark synth patterns, electro breakdowns, and piano chord progressions. Harnessing the perfect combination of experimental notes and electronic beats, “Wisdom” fills the listener with wonder providing uplifting energy that lives flawlessly inside the world of Lost In Dreams.
“A few years ago, I was inspired by the idea that we always have the chance to make the most of challenging situations by learning from them. This led me to eventually finishing ‘Wisdom’, which plays around with the sentimental and empowering feelings that (the) same thought process gave me. I’ve been working on this track for the last four years and I’m happy we found the right home for it. I’m excited to be joining the Insomniac family!”– Haywyre
Lost In Dreams is the latest brand to come from Insomniac, and will operate under the same umbrella as other brands included under the Insomniac Music Group, which is home to a groundbreaking and innovative electronic dance music centered around an intention and mission to support and nurture both upcoming and established artists alike.
